		BRIANÇON - SERRE CHEVALIER Town of art and history, at the crossroads of five different valleys including the Durance, the Guisane and the Cerveyrette, well known for its old town (registered on the UNESCO world heritage list - press pack) and for being one of the sunniest towns in France. Briançon is also a part of the ski resort of Serre-Chevalier (250km of downhill pistes 45km of cross country pistes).


	Within this region, known as the Briançonnais, our valleys are different and complementary. Each valley offers a unique climate, a rich fauna and flora, a heritage and authentic mountain traditions. Briançon is situated between two nature reserves : Parc national des Ecrins and the Parc régional du Queyras.


	Large variety of sporting and cultural activities during the summer : rock climbing, white water sports, cycling (famous passes : Lautaret, Galibier, Izoard...), mountain biking, horse riding, via ferrata, fishing, tennis, hiking, Prorel gondola open in summer, museum, exhibitions...
